This document specifies a taxonomy and an ontology for blockchain and distributed ledger technologies (DLT). The taxonomy includes a taxonomy of concepts, a taxonomy of DLT systems and a taxonomy of application domains, purposes and economy activity sections for use cases. The ontology includes classes and attributes as well as relations between concepts. The audience includes but is not limited to academics, architects, customers, users, tool developers, regulators, auditors and standards development organizations.

This document specifies a reference architecture for Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) systems including blockchain systems. The reference architecture addresses concepts, cross-cutting aspects, architectural considerations, and architecture views, including functional components, roles, activities, and their relationships for blockchain and DLT. This document defines a reference architecture for DLT-based decentralized identity systems. This includes: - The lifecycle management of digital identities and associated attributes and credentials in a decentralized identity system including migration of individual digital identities into another system - The lifecycle management of the relevant actors and entities, including digital wallets, within a decentralized identity system - The use of trust anchors through a decentralized identity system - The entire lifecycle management of the decentralized identity system

ISO/DIS 24946 Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies — Requirements and guidance for establishing, improving, preserving, and assessing the privacy capability of DLT systems: The document specifies DLT related requirements for establishing, improving, preserving, and assessing the privacy capability of DLT systems.

This standard will provide the means (e.g., APIs) for a decentralized media rights ecosystem based on widely deployed MPEG technologies (e.g., audio-visual codecs, file formats, streaming protocols, and smart contracts) and non-MPEG technologies (e.g., DLTs, content and creator IDs).
