ETSI TC Cyber Working Group for EUSR (CYBER-EUSR)

ETSI’s Technical Committee on Cyber Security (TC CYBER) is a centre of expertise in cybersecurity. It provides market-driven cybersecurity standardisation solutions, advice, and guidance to users, manufacturers, infrastructure/service operators and regulators.

The Committee works closely with stakeholders to develop standards that strengthen privacy and enhance the security capabilities for organisations and citizens across Europe and worldwide.

Our standards help make our society more secure and better protected against cybersecurity threats and are designed to be applicable across diverse domains.

The ETSI Technical Committee on Cybersecurity Working Group EU Standardisation Requests (CYBER-EUSR) is developing vertical standards in support of the implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). These standards will specify cybersecurity requirements for digital products to provide presumption of conformity with the essential requirements of the CRA.

MS Forum Accessibility In The Metaverse WG

Working group of the Metaverse Standards Forum dedicated to securing accessibility and inclusion for everyone in the metaverse.

The goal is to generate insights, identify risks, and recommend strategies and best practices to ensure that immersive experiences, environments, interfaces, and interactions are accessible to all, regardless of abilities or disabilities and access needs.

Ultimately, we will support the creation of comprehensive XR standards on par with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. This will enable organizations to know with certainty whether their XR applications are accessible or not, and open the door to the next phase of ethical growth of the metaverse.

City Information Modelling and Urban Digital Twins

linked to ISO/IEC JTC 1

1) To carry out a gap analysis on standards related to City Information Modelling and Urban Digital Twins;

2) To use the gap analysis to develop requirements for the standards needed for the implementation of City Information Modelling and Urban Digital Twins;

3) To develop those standards relating to City Information Modelling and Urban Digital Twins that are within its competence, including a reference architecture that takes into account the differing perspectives of City Information Modelling and Urban Digital Twins.



Note for information:

1 The Joint Working Group is not expected to develop many standards itself, but rather through a process of use case/case study collection, the development of an integrated reference architecture, and standards mapping, to identify the gaps in existing standards and support the relevant specialist technical committees to address these.

2 The reference architecture is intended to be coherent with ISO/IEC 42010 and the developing work on Smart Cities Reference Architecture (IEC 63205), the Digital Twin Reference Architecture (ISO/IEC 30188), the IoT Reference Architecture (ISO/IEC 30141 Ed2) and other relevant standards.

CEN/CENELEC JTC 21 Artificial Intelligence WG1 Strategic Advisory Group

The SAG is a working group reporting to JTC 21. The scope of SAG is to support JTC 21 in exploring ways and means for supporting the implementation of the trustworthy Digital Single Market in terms of AI aspects with European standardization deliverables (standards, technical reports etc.).

OASIS Open Building Information Exchange (oBIX) TC

The purpose of oBIX (open Building Information Exchange) is to enable the mechanical and electrical control systems in buildings to communicate with enterprise applications, and to provide a platform for developing new classes of applications that integrate control systems with other enterprise functions. Enterprise functions include processes such as Human Resources, Finance, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Manufacturing.

OASIS Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF) TC

The OASIS CSAF Technical Committee is chartered to make a major revision to the Common Vulnerability Reporting Framework (CVRF) under a new name for the framework that reflects the primary purpose: a Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF). TC deliverables are designed standardize existing practice in structured machine-readable vulnerability-related advisories and further refine those standards over time.

OASIS Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) TC

The OASIS KMIP TC works to define a single, comprehensive protocol for communication between encryption systems and a broad range of new and legacy enterprise applications, including email, databases, and storage devices. By removing redundant, incompatible key management processes, KMIP will provide better data security while at the same time reducing expenditures on multiple products.

OASIS Privacy Management Reference Model (PMRM) TC

The OASIS PMRM TC works to provide a standards-based framework that will help business process engineers, IT analysts, architects, and developers implement privacy and security policies in their operations. PMRM picks up where broad privacy policies leave off. Most policies describe fair information practices and principles but offer little insight into actual implementation. PMRM provides a guideline or template for developing operational solutions to privacy issues. It also serves as an analytical tool for assessing the completeness of proposed solutions and as the basis for establishing categories and groupings of privacy management controls.

OASIS Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) TC

The OASIS AMQP TC advances a vendor-neutral and platform-agnostic protocol that offers organizations an easier, more secure approach to passing real-time data streams and business transactions. The goal of AMQP is to ensure information is safely and efficiently transported between applications, among organizations, across distributed cloud computing environments, and within mobile infrastructures. AMQP avoids proprietary technologies, offering the potential to lower the cost of enterprise middleware software integrations through open interoperability. By enabling a commoditized, multi-vendor ecosystem, AMQP seeks to create opportunities for transforming the way business is done in the Cloud and over the Internet.

The OASIS Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) Bindings and Mappings (AMQP-BINDMAP) Technical Committee works closely with the AMQP TC to advance a wire-level messaging protocol that offers organizations an efficient, reliable approach to passing real-time data and business transactions. AMQP provides a platform-agnostic method for ensuring information is safely transported between applications, among organizations, within mobile infrastructures, and across the Cloud.
