ICT standardisation offers unique opportunities to contribute to the development of future digital technologies, collaborate with international experts and build recognised technical and leadership expertise. However, entering the standardisation ecosystem can often be complex without clear pathways or opportunities for financial support, particularly for newcomers and SMEs with limited experience.
This webinar, organised by StandICT.eu 2029, is designed to support professionals, especially women and experts with an SME background, in developing the knowledge, confidence and practical understanding needed to engage in ICT standardisation activities.
Through practical guidance and first-hand experiences shared by women holding active roles within European and international Standards Developing Organisations (SDOs), participants will gain insights into how standardisation works in practice, why it is essential for SMEs to take part in the community, how technical expertise can translate into leadership opportunities, and how to begin their own standardisation journey.
The webinar will also present the opportunities available through the StandICT.eu 2029 Fellowship Programme, Standards Academy and Mentorship Programme, providing participants with practical pathways to further develop their expertise and actively contribute to European and international ICT standardisation.
