The Standards Watch of StandICT.eu monitors the status of ICT standards at international level, starting from the five priority areas of the Digital Single Market: 5G communications,cloud computing,cybersecurity,data technology, and IoT – Internet of Things.

In particular, special attention is given to the rapidly evolving ICT topics of: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, IoT. Gradually, the Standards Watch will be expanded to other ICT domains and topics, with the aim of better identifying gaps, needs & opportunities and consequently stimulating European Experts to pursue the openings granted by the StandICT.eu initiative.

The Trusted Cloud Initiative helps cloud providers develop industry-recommended, secure and interoperable identity, access and compliance management configurations, and practices. The Trusted Cloud Initiative will develop reference models and education in a vendor-neutral manner, inclusive of all CSA members and affiliates who wish to participate.

ISO/IEC 7816-3:2006 specifies the power and signal structures, and information exchange between an integrated circuit card and an interface device such as a terminal.

It also covers signal rates, voltage levels, current values, parity convention, operating procedure, transmission mechanisms and communication with the card. It does not cover information and instruction content, such as identification of issuers and users, services and limits, security features, journaling and instruction definitions.
