Scope of the Event

The StandICT.eu "Smart Cities: Global Perspectives on Digital Transformation" webinar will focus on the discussion around what knowledge and tools are required for nations and local authorities to take the next steps. Or, sometimes, more importantly, their first steps in building a society that benefits from digital transformation in cities, through standards, educational and technological toolkits, and cooperation. The panel will also look at lessons learnt from COVID-19 and what is required to combat a growing digital divide. The event will take the form of a panel discussion with key questions put to our international experts, who represent both technology and city stakeholders at a global level.
